Limboski
LIMBOSKI is a musical project created by Michał Augustyniak – a vocalist, improvising guitarist and songwriter. In 2007 he started to perform solo shows called „Limbo Nu Blues Project”, than a band called LIMBO gained a lot of attention in Polish blues society, because of its original approach to blues standards and classics. At that time Michał started to write his own songs which soon became the main part of his concerts. The first album Czarny Kolczyk (The Black Earring) was released in 2008.

In 2007 he started to perform solo shows called „Limbo Nu Blues Project”, than a band called LIMBO gained a lot of attention in Polish blues society, because of its original approach to blues standards and classics. At that time Michał started to write his own songs which soon became the main part of his concerts. The first album Czarny Kolczyk (The Black Earring) was released in 2008. One year later Michał reshuffled the band and changed the name of his musical project - he added „ski” to its name to emphasize the Polish background and the wider range of musical experiments.
The new LIMBOSKI band released Cafe Brumba album in 2010 which was warmly welcomed both by critiques and the audience. LIMBOSKI as a leader artist is considered as one of best young polish songwriters and the band is one of the best improvising groups in Poland.
In 2011 LIMBOSKI released an album inspired by pre-war blues and American folk. Tribute to Georgie Buck collects songs of Robert Johnson, Skip James, Blind Willie Johnson and some traditional anonymous songs.
